Italia Polo Challenge is an international event that develops around the performance of multiple Polo tournaments organized in the most beautiful and exclusive Italian locations that saw Danilo Magnisi, of Sea Earth Sky, among the sponsors.

Among the most anticipated events, without a doubt, the stage of Cortina d’Ampezzo which took place on Saturday 27 February at the Fiames sports field. At 8.30 the start of the test match between the U.S. Polo Assn./ Lusben Polo Team and Battistoni / Mediolanum Polo Team. The light of a splendid morning was the extraordinary setting for the test match played with intensity between the U.S. Polo Assn./Lusben and Battistoni / Mediolanum. The six players, representing five nations lined up by the two Polo Teams, faced off in an uncertain match that saw the US prevail 4 to 3. Polo Assn./Lusben.

At 11.30 the players of the two teams paraded preceded by a patrol of Carabinieri on the saddle of two magnificent specimens of Murgese horses (Biodiversity Group Biodiversity Protection Department, Celandra Feltre’s department on horseback) along Corso Italia, then stopping at the Conchiglia in Piazza Angelo Dibona to receive a welcome from the mayor of Cortina d’Ampezzo, Gianpietro Ghedina.

The light of a splendid morning provided an extraordinary setting for the test match played with intensity between the U.S. Polo Assn./Lusben and Battistoni / Mediolanum. More than the final result, however, to mark the day was a “we really enjoyed” with which the polo players greeted each other at the end of the test match.
